As you can see by the picture above that we love a horse with a little spash of color. My first horse when I was a child was a palomino pinto pony mare called Tammy. "Tamisha's Gold Spot".
After many years of owning Warmbloods and Hunter Jumpers I decided I wanted to breed colored (Pinto) sport horses and Paints. I owned a lovely Holstien stallion "Coeur de Lion" (son of Cor de la Bryere) so found a couple nice Homozagous Paint mares that I could bred him too. The year before he died at the age of 26 both our mares had beautiful colored foals. Our colt "Corde' Chrome" out of my mare Zanda sold in April of 2007 as a jumper prospect. We have the filly "Calligraphy" out of our other mare My Double Legacy now for sale. Check out our sales page to see some sales horses by our late stallion Coeur de Lion.
We have recently purchased a Homozygous Black and White Paint stallion called "THE HUNTSMAN" Hunter comes from proven jumping stock and has full siblings winning in the Hunter and Jumper ring! It’s no wonder with a pedigree containing such greats as Dixie War Drum, Secretariat, Bold Ruler, War Admiral and Man O’War twice as well as AQHA Hall Of Fame sires Depth Charge, Poco Bueano, King and Peter McCue!
We also have two very nice paints we use as everyday riding horses. The one is a lovely mare "Bar J Zanda's Beauty" show name "Kalidescope" that I am lucky enough to do almost everything on from the hunter ring to camping with her in Arizona. She is the mare that had the lovely colt that sold to Edmonton. We recently bought a paint gelding for Ron by the same sire as Zanda. He is also a great all round horse and places in the hunters and jumper rings.
